Ballet Under the Stars (Thursday, July 30- Sunday, August 2, Pre-show 8 p.m. Main Curtain 9 p.m. Woodland Park.) - Ballet Under the Stars is one of Central Kentucky's most anticipated events of the summer. This unique festival allows audiences to enjoy the beauty and grandeur
of a professional ballet in a relaxed, casual setting of the park. The event will begin with a pre-show youth production (The Little Mermaid) at 8 p.m. followed by the main show that will feature professional dancers from Kentucky Ballet Theatre. Lawn chairs and/or blankets should be brought for seating and patrons may pack a picnic dinner or purchase concessions onsite. Admission is $5 per person, children 3 & under are free. For more information, please call 288-2925. Ballet Under the Stars is presented by Lexington Parks & Recreation, the Ballet Under the Stars Volunteer Committee, and Don Jacobs Honda/BMW/Volkswagen.
