Nicholas and Stephanie, 2014 National Tango Salon Champions are an elegant & connected couple committed to teaching beautiful movement full of finesse. They continuously work on their dancing as well as their teaching methodology. Together they form a harmonious dance partnership and a union of two teachers dedicated to their craft.
They partnered in 2012 and are ecstatic to have found one another. Together they taught UC Berkeley's for credit Tango course for 3 years helping the program and community to grow. In 2014 they won the Official USA Argentine Tango National Championship. Currently, they teach locally in the Phoenix Metropolitan Area and tour, teach, and judge nationally. On January 1st, 2016 they became owners of the Z Room Dance & Fitness in Tempe, Arizona where they do much of their training and practicing.
Tango influences, coaches and beloved maestros include: Jimena Hoeffner and Fernando Carasco, Alejandra Gutty, Los Alonso and Mario Morales.
