Let’s shimmy off the winter cold. Instructor Hallie Marie will kick off the evening with an intro to Belly Dance basics class. This will be a sneak peek into the classes she will be teaching on a weekly basis starting in January. Then we will put your new moves to use with some open dancing. Samantha McCulloch of Hannaya Healing will be offering Henna to get you all decorated for the Holidays.
$15 for class and open dancing.
Schedule
8:00 p.m. Belly Dance Basics Class taught by Hallie Marie. This class is will cover the basic movement that all styles of Belly Dance are based on. There will be hip scarfs available for use during class and open dancing. Wear comfortable clothes that are ease to dance and stretch in. If you have foot issues it is suggested that you wear comfortable shoes with good support because the floor is concrete. A bottle of water is also a good idea.
9:00 p.m. Let’s Dance! Hallie Marie will provide the jams for you to try out your new moves. She will also be available for any further questions you might have during this time.
Samantha McCulloch will be offering Henna designs during the open dancing. Designs prices start at $10 and go up from there.
