EVERY WEDNESDAY@ 7PM for 6 weeks $72/person
Beginning Traditional Argentine Tango is an introduction to the techniques, figures and cultural aspects of the tango. Students will learn the embrace, a variety of caminatas (walking), ochos, and several basic figures. This class will also introduce music appreciation, and improvisation in the dance. This class is open to couples and singles. Please wear socks to the first class – we will discuss footwear at that time. We encourage students to attend the class regularly as the material builds each week.
Classes will be held Wednesday nights at 6pm on March 15th, 22nd, 29th, April 5th,12th and 19th. There is a limit of 20 participants in the class and registration will be first come, first served.
*Registration requires full payment upfront. Monthly class payment packages, punch cards, and drop-in classes cannot be used for this class registration. $60 is refundable until March 10th. Included in the class cost is a $12 non-refundable deposit. After March 10th there will be no refunds given.
