The Wake Forest Renaissance Centre for the Arts is pleased to present its first professional modern dance performance to the Wake Forest community. International dancer Miki Orihara, principal dancer for the Martha Graham Dance Company in New York City, will present "Resonance" Solo Modern Dance Performance. Miki explores the continuity and linage between modern dance and contemporary dance, as a new generation of artists begin to create work and inspire the next phase of modern dance.
Orihara performs the work of various choreographers, both re-staged and new, including Martha Graham, Jose Limon, Martha Clarke, and Adam Barruch with original score by Senri Oe.
Tickets are $10 for adults and $8 for students & seniors. You may purchase tickets online at [hidden] or at the Renaissance Centre Box Office, 405 Brooks Street.
