"ATUSA", the ARGENTINE TANGO USA OFFICIAL CHAMPIONSHIP & TANGO FESTIVAL is the sanctioned OFFICIAL BRANCH in THE UNITED STATES to Tango Buenos Aires Festival and Dance World Cup*. It is is a unique four-day Official Tango event including both the only OFFICIAL ARGENTINE TANGO CHAMPIONSHIP in the USA and an international TANGO FESTIVAL.
ATUSA OFFICIAL CHAMPIONSHIP is the direct and only validated pathway to have a significant opportunity at the Tango Mundial as it the only entity entitled to hand in official tango champion titles and to send the official US representatives (champions) to compete DIRECTLY AT THE SEMIFINAL rounds of the TANGO DANCE WORLD CUP in Buenos Aires every year, - avoiding more than 600 couples at the qualifying rounds.
No other competition or championships in the USA other than ATUSA is official and validated by Tango Buenos Aires Dance World Cup.
This double prestigious event will be held on March 29- April 1, 2018 at the superb San Francisco Airport Marriott Hotel which is just minutes from the San Francisco International Airport and 15 miles from downtown San Francisco.
PRE-REGISTRATION for for both the FESTIVAL & the OFFICIAL CHAMPIONSHIP will start in mid October 2017.
*Tango Buenos Aires Festival and Dance World Cup is a worldwide unique mega event organized the Ministry of Culture of the Government of the Autonomous City Of Buenos Aires, the highest authority regarding the organization, program planning and overall execution of the Mundial de Tango.
