FREE Salsa lesson with paid admission - Each 2nd and 4th Sunday, we feature a special Sunday of Salsa and Latin dancing at the beautiful Raleigh Elks Lodge Ballroom (1 mile north of the Crab Tree Valley Mall). Beginner friendly, all are welcome, and no partner is necessary. Dress code is casual. Check out our website [hidden] and our Facebook page. Note: Your $10 admission allows you come and go access to the afternoon dance and the FREE evening East Coast Swing Lesson at 6:15pm followed by the open Swing Dance Jam from 7:15pm to 10:30pm. What 1st time attendees can look forward to - Meeting and mixing with friendly, supportive dancers from 16 - 70 yrs. in a comfortable and casual environment. We provide Beginner Lessons before the social dancing to help you get your dancing foot on and meet some pretty friendly dancers. We have beginners and experienced dancers dancing side-by-side on the dance floor every Sunday . Our weekly Swing dance has between 90 - 200 dancers in attendance each week. We have a beautiful venue at the Raleigh Elks Lodge Ballroom with a spacious wood dance floor, great air conditioning (important in the hot summer months), comfortable table seating around the dance floor and all of our dances are smoke free. There's a cash bar and light snacks available. No partner necessary, dress is casual and most important - all are welcome.
