Many of us know a dance we like when we see it, but why? What movements catch our eye? What makes dance traditions around the world different? What makes them the same? And how does gesture convey emotion?
This workshop is for anyone who wants to be better able to watch movement, describe what they're seeing, and create more interesting and creative dances themselves. No dance experience needed. Just a body (your own, please) and a notebook.
