Get in the holiday spirit with the Ballroom Performance Group! Join us in a winter wonderland as we dance the night away to holiday music. It's the last FNDP of the semester, and BPG welcomes campus and the community to a FREE beginner Foxtrot lesson at 7pm followed by social dancing (mix of all styles) from 8-10:30pm. $3 for UGA students and $5 general admission.
No previous dance experience or partner required! In fact, we rotate partners during the lesson so you can dance with different people! Athens community members are always welcomed. Invite your friends and join us for an awesome time learning how to Foxtrot.
Dress attire is recommended. This typically includes collared shirts, slacks, skirts and dresses. The Snow Ball is slightly more formal than our other dances, and there will be fun, festive music and decorations.
The lesson and dance will be held in the New Dance Theatre inside the UGA Department of Dance (across from Snelling Dining Commons) at 325 Sanford Drive Athens, GA 30602.
UGA Ballroom Performance Group hosts Friday Night Dance Parties every First and Third Friday of the month. Look out for our events, as we teach a different dance style every time!
