Often considered the finest achievement of the classical ballet, The Sleeping Beauty performed by The Moscow Festival Ballet is a grandiose and refined blending of traditional mime and expressive dance set to the lavish music of Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky. The fairytale story of a princess cursed to sleep until awakened by the kiss of a prince uses the finest choreography, dazzling costumes, courtly splendor and magical stage effects to create a perfect evening of ballet.
