Burlesque Chair Choreography
w/Chris Geyer aka Ruby Vesper
Join our Burlesque vixen Ruby Vesper in a slow, sexy chair dance routine that will bring out your strong feminine side. Come learn to work the chair, move with great posture and clean lines. Of course, all the while projecting and embodying your inner diva! All levels are welcome, but jazz, belly dance, or burlesque experience a plus.
Costumes required to perform, TBA. We will discuss with the group whether we will wear high heels or just stockings (and whether we want to include a stocking peel in the routine), depending on everyone's comfort level. Not sure you want to perform? You are welcome to come learn the routine just for your own personal use!
Attendance in Ruby's regular Burlesque class at noon on Saturdays is encouraged for fine tuning technique and extra rehearsal. We want you comfortable on the chair and strong in your leg extensions!
