El Amanecer is home to the longest running Milonga in the Reading area. Milongas at the Reading Canoe Club started in 1999 and were taken over by El Amanecer in 2000 and now the tradition continues under the name of La Primera at Vibez Dance Studios, Woodley. Experienced dancers are always welcome at our Milongas which take place on the second Saturday of every month. If you havent been to the Vibez Dance Studios before, then you should know that it is a wonderful, purpose built dance venue with beautiful sprung wooden floors and plenty of free car parking on Sundays and after 6:00pm on all other days. As usual you can expect good company, good music and good dancing. I look forward to seeing you there!
