You do not need a dance partner for any of the group classes. Everyone rotates during the class every few minutes and you will dance with a lot of different people. If you came with a date you are not obligated to rotate. If you came by yourself a group salsa class is a good opportunity to make some new friends, or may be even meet a love of your life, although I can not guarantee you that.
