Earl Smith Strand Theatre on the Historic Marietta Square After sitting dark for over 30 years, the 1935 Art Deco theatre was renovated and reopened in 2009 for your viewing pleasure. With seating for over 500 in the auditorium, two event rooms, and a roof top terrace that turns into a bar with live music during the summer months, The Strand hosts a variety of different events. We hope to see you at a show soon – check out musical productions by the Atlanta Lyric Theatre, classic movies, concerts, and more! The unique facility is also available for corporate and private events such as workshops, receptions, rehearsal dinners, and holiday functions.
