The Fred Astaire Dance Studio tradition began in 1947, when Mr. Fred Astaire, considered to be the greatest multi-talented dancer of all time, personally developed a practical, interrelated dance curriculum for the first Fred Astaire Dance Studio on New York City's Park Ave.
